Magic Kingdom

So since the race is over its time to enjoy the parks! We started off Saturday at the Grand Floridian with breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and got to see so characters such as Alice, Hatter, Pooh and Tigger.  Then we went to MK (Magic Kingdom) and spent the rest of the day there riding the rides and seeing some other characters. Best part of the day was getting a dole whip to end the day yummy!! 

Race Day!!!

We did it! It was Amazing we even bet our goal of an hour by 8 minutes... It was early we got to Epcot at 4:45am and partyed with the other runners until we got into our corral and then the waiting began. There was 5 corrals with about 2,000 runners in each one we were in corral D so we left 24 minutes after the first corral left, so the times in the pictures are not correct for us. Running through Epcot was amazing and the cast members were cheering you on the whole way... can't thank them enough they really push u though to the end. Well it's time for a quick nap then off to the boardwalk tonight for a girls night out which is much deserved. 

Princess Weekend Expo

Thursday we picked up our bib numbers and shirts at the princess weekend expo at Wide World of Sports. Getting to go to WWOS was on my list of disney places I haven't been so check that off my list. We also took some time out to take some pictures at the expo. For dinner we did Olivia's at Old Key West another resort I haven't been to so check that off too. So enjoy some pictures and tomorrow is race day so excited!!! 

Disney World day One...

Yesterday Sarah and I went to downtown disney did a little shopping and had lunch. We ate at Wolf Gang Pucks express it was amazing I don't expect nothing less there it's always great! Then we went and experienced the new Spiltsville where we bowled for an hour or so its great for a rainy day or just something unexpected in Disney. We did some shopping at World of Disney and some other shops. I gotta go back since I forgot to get dad a Harley shirt but we have all day Monday before return so no worries there. We also explored Disneys Wildeness Lodge and did some relaxing by the lake it's so beautiful there diffently on my list of resorts to stay at in the future. So on to dinner we ate at Whispering Canyon again another great meal but the best part there is asking for ketchup and the pony roundup! Well we got a full day ahead of us so later all... Stay warm up there!

Just A Little Race Stuff...

It's Tuesday morning here in Pittsburgh... and yes i'm still packing I fell into an Olympic hole last night so packing was just not that important. So they posted the race course two weeks ago, so here is a map of where in Epcot we'll be running. Not only do we get to run through Epcot's World Showcase (countries for those non-disney people) we get to stop along the way and meet some Disney Characters!!! Can't wait to see who we'll meet. Also they start the race with fireworks... most likley not as awesome as Wishes at Magic Kingdom but just another plus to run in Disney! Ok I must finish packing and then I gotta go to work then Disney Bound in the AM!!! =)

Packing...

So we are less than 48 hours away from departing the Burg... just got in my last run here at home next time I lace up my shoes I'll be running in sunny Florida! Sarah informed me I have to wake up early tomorrow so we can check-in online for Southwest so we have a better seating assignment, so there goes sleeping in tomorrow. Packing well I just started not a shocker there, I'm a really last minute type of girl. On the flip side all of our hotel/tickets/dinning-plan are taken care of including getting our Magic Bands customized! So excited to get to try out the new MyMagic+ with the Magic Bands in Disney World.

Well I guess I better get packing... if I forget anything that just means a shopping spree in Disney World!

4 days away from warm weather!

So its Saturday here in PA... and once again mother nature has graced us with her presents and the dreaded four letter word. I'm just looking forward to Wednesday and leaving this cold climate for some warm weather.

So its official Sarah and I leave in four days for Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida to attend the Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Don't worry we're not doing the half marathon we're just doing the Royal Family 5K... its going to be a challenge in its self for us non-runners.

Most that are reading this might not know why my blog is titled Danzi & Swebs well here is the story behind those names. Danzi and Swebs are myself and Sarah's instagram names, in case you wanna follow us...we'll be posting pictures throughout our week in Disney.
